BUKKI

This prototype was made for the DR1 TV program “Danmarks næste klassiker” in collaboration with Kjeldtoft Furniture.

Bukki is for 3-7 year old children. The idea behind the design is inspired by my own childhood, that was filled with gymnastics. It is an atempt to bring activity and movements from the gym into the private home. Bukki can be used to jump over, jump down from, balance on and sit on etc. The furniture can also be divided into 2 products, each of which can motivate for play and movement. The cork can be used to tilt and or sit, lie and crawl on. The bendwood part with legs can be used as a stool or be part of a train / bus play etc. limited only by imagination.
