HASMARK

The Hasmark lamp consists of many fine lines, which together form a beautiful shape – much like an onion, which is also the inspiration for both the design and the name. The lamp is named after one of Denmark’s best onion producers, Hasmark Vestergård from Funen. Onions keep well for a very long time and longlasting design is one of my main focal points.

Hasmark mainly consists of 2 materials – textile and metal. Here I utilize their special properties in relation to the structural, functional and the tactile experience. The textile provides a pleasant and diffused light and the black structure creates a contrast with the clean graphic lines. The lamp is welcoming and creates a room with atmosphere where people can meet around for a pleasant time.
